Offers comprehensive EEG and evoked potential evaluation of patients with neurological diseases. EEG evaluations include in- and outpatient long-term EEG and video EEG monitoring, pre-surgical epilepsy work up and perioperative cortical mapping. Evoked potential activity includes perioperative monitoring of spine and intracranial surgeries.

Electromyography (EMG)
Offers electrodiagnostic capabilities to detect neuromuscular diseases. Problems involving the peripheral nerves and muscles can be diagnosed utilizing nerve stimulation and needle EMG muscle testing. Autonomic nervous system testing is also performed.

Memory Disorders Program
Offers evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with memory, language, and other cognitive disorders, with a focus on the progressive dementias of the elderly. For qualifying and interested subjects, enrollment in actively-recruiting research studies may be offered. For example, subjects with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease may elect to join a clinical trial of a new experimental therapy. Other research projects may focus on discovery of disease biomarkers such as new brain imaging methods.
Multiple Sclerosis
The Multiple Sclerosis Program evaluates, treats and manages the complex needs of MS patients. The MS team coordinates placement and management of intrathecal Baclofen pumps for spacticity.

Neuro-ophthalmology
Offers comprehensive consultation, evaluation and treatment of neurologic disorders affecting vision and eye movements. Common problems treated include: multiple sclerosis, optic neuritis, myasthenia gravis, thyroid eye disease, blepharospasm, Bell's palsy, double vision, ischemic optic neuropathy, other optic nerve problems, pupillary abnormalities, unexplained vision loss, visual field defects, optic disc swelling, abnormal eye movements (nystagmus), and intracranial lesions affecting visual pathway.
Neuromuscular Diseases Clinic
Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA)-supported clinic in which patients with two neuromuscular disorders, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, are seen.

Neuropsychology
Involves the assessment of cognitive, perceptual, and motor skills in the evaluation of brain functioning. The Department of Neurology provides neuropsychological assessment of adults with a wide range of neurological and psychiatric conditions. These measures are useful in following a patient's response to treatment.
