Examples include requesting updates on your hospitalized patients, requesting advice from subspecialists, requests to recommend another subspecialist etc.

Medstar physicians may register by login on to the Medstar Clinician Portal at

The program allows you to send a secure email to another registered MD (Medstar or outside MD) by logging on to the Web site and sending the email to the doc's regular email address. The receiving doc will receive an email from the Web site into his/her regular Mailbox prompting them to login onto the Web site and register. Going forward, he/she will be able to communicate with all of us securely using the same procedure.
